Set within its own spacious grounds, Stonegarthside Hall is perhaps the most austere country house in England. However appearances can be deceiving and once inside the Hall, it exhibits itself as the perfect house for functions. A spacious fully equipped kitchen and adjoining dining room with wood-burning stove, a billiard room, drawing room and covered paved courtyard mean that Stonegarthside Hall can be transformed from a comfortable family residence to a slick corporate events venue or even play host to a cocktail evening. In the summer the grounds adjacent to Stonegarthside Hall provide even more space in which to entertain and relax.

Commento:
My family stayed here in 2003 just after it had been refirbished. We had a fantastic time, although my husband will not go back!! This is due to the 'noises' we heard!! These got progressively worse as the holiday went on!!! Has anyone else had similar experiences?!?!?!?!?! Please let me know.
